Practical Tips for Printing and Presenting
- Use heavier paper or cardstock (at least 80–100 lb) for a more formal look.
- Print in color when possible to highlight patriotic designs or seals.
- Sign the certificate by hand and add the date.
- Pair the certificate with a brief spoken thank-you or a small token such as a flag pin.
- For groups, print multiples ahead of time and fill in names just before the event.
- Laminate important certificates if they will be displayed long-term.
Always respect the recipient’s privacy and preferences—some veterans prefer quiet recognition over public ceremonies.
